While bonfire night celebrations were in full swing, our team was busy recovering a stolen Bobcat mini excavator. Originally hired from a Derbyshire plant hire company, the excavator was illicitly transported from Chesterfield to a yard in Burnley. Despite the removal of its hard-wired tracking unit, our micro battery-powered asset tracking system came to the rescue, leading to its recovery from a container in Hebden Bridge, West Yorkshire. The relief was immense for our client, as the equipment was valued at approximately £10,000.
Fleet Tracking finds Vanishing Van in Normanton
A routine evening turned distressing for one of our Leeds-based civil engineering clients when their Ford Transit Custom van was stolen in Normanton, West Yorkshire. Our real-time tracking system swiftly located the van hidden in Bentley, Doncaster. The prompt recovery, with minimal damage, saved our customer an estimated £20,000.
Mercedes Mystery Solved in Staffordshire
The theft of a luxurious Mercedes X-Class Pick-Up from Burton-on-Trent left our West Midlands-based construction client in dismay. The vehicle, valued at around £30,000, was a target due to its keyless entry system. Our diligent tracking led to its location in a car park at Huddlesford, near Lichfield, Staffordshire. Doncaster Discovery – A Multitude of Machinery
A late-night recovery operation led to a significant haul. A Mecalac dumper, stolen from Sheffield, was tracked to a site near Doncaster. The operation, aided by NCATT and South Yorkshire Police, not only recovered the dumper but also a JCB dumper, a van, a trailer, and a micro excavator, all reported stolen and in the midst of being resprayed for sale.
Ending November in Hatfield Heath

Located at a site in Sawbridgeworth, Hertfordshire, this recovery marked the end of a month filled with successful retrievals across the UK, including excavators, dumpers, attachments, and more.
